Doubtful Sound - guided 2 day kayaking tourDay one: Start your journey by cruise across beautiful Lake Manapouri to West Arm. Travel 22 kms over the Wilmot Pass Road to Deep Cove where your paddling adventure begins (a full safety and paddling briefing is provided with ongoing support and guidance on the water from your experienced guide).

Kayak this remote fiord viewing ice carved, bush covered, majestic mountain scenery with bird and wildlife encounters. Explore the natural environment and shorelines as you paddle down into ‘The Narrows’ of Hall Arm enroute to your bush campsite at the entrance to impressive Hall Arm. Set up camp for the evening. Enjoy the 'sound of silence' and a complimentary wine as you prepare your evening meal.

Day two: An early start to catch the best paddling conditions.

Paddle out of Hall Arm into Malaspina Reach and around Elizabeth Island (weather permitting). Stopover onshore for a lunch break at Olphert Cove before the continuation of your return paddle back to Deep Cove. Depart the fiord for the return drive over the pass.
